One plan, A$249 a month
Plus a one-off A$499 setup fee, GST may apply. The minimum term is 12 months from the day your site goes live, then month to month. No second price, no tiers, no add-on fees hidden in the terms.
What you pay over three years
Worked out from the plan price alone, before any GST. The setup fee is paid once, so the first year costs the most. There are no renewal fees or price steps built in.
If the monthly fee ever changes after the minimum term, you get at least 30 days' written notice and can leave before it applies.
Why the prices say "GST may apply"
The plan is sold to businesses only. The ACCC says a business displaying prices only to other businesses doesn't need to include GST 1 in the price. GST is added to an invoice only if the business supplying the plan is registered for GST when it invoices you, and GST is a tax of 10% on most goods, services and other items sold or consumed in Australia 2 is the rate that would apply.
Once registration is confirmed, this label changes on every page at once. If you are registered for GST yourself, your accountant can tell you whether you can claim it back.
What the price doesn't cover
- Paid advertising, such as Google Ads or Meta ads, and the ad spend.
- Logo or brand design.
- Writing your content: you supply the words, photos and prices, and we lay them out.
- Registering your domain name: it is registered in your business name and you pay the registrar.
- Your booking software subscription: we link or embed the system you already use.
How the plan compares with your other options
Salons usually weigh four choices. None is right for everyone, so here they are side by side, described in general terms rather than against any one company. The full comparison goes through the pros and cons of each.
| This plan | DIY website builder | One-off agency build | Instagram or Facebook only | |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| What you pay | A$249 a month and A$499 setup, GST may apply | A monthly builder subscription, plus your own time | A larger upfront build fee, then hosting and paid changes | Nothing for a site, but you work inside the platform |
| Who builds it | We build it from your content | You, from a template | The agency, to a brief you write | No site; posts and a profile only |
| Price and menu changes | Up to 5 edits a month done for you | You make them when you find the time | Usually quoted or billed per change | You post updates, which scroll away |
| Hosting, SSL and updates | Included | Included in most builder plans; updates are yours to check | Often a separate hosting or care plan | Not applicable |
| Commitment | 12-month minimum, then month to month | Usually monthly or annual billing | Paid upfront, whatever happens next | None, but the platform sets the rules |
Before you book
The questions salon owners tend to ask about money and commitment.
"I already paid for a website that never got finished."
The 14-day clock starts when we have your content, and the checklist tells you exactly what that is. The monthly fee doesn't start until your site is live.
"I'm not technical."
You don't need to be. You send words, photos, prices and your booking link. When something changes, you tell us, and the edit is made for you.
"Twelve months is a long time."
It is, which is why it's stated here, on the appointment card and in the terms rather than in small print. The term covers the build being spread over the monthly fee. After it, you can leave with notice before the next billing date.
"What if I want to leave later?"
Your domain is in your name and your content is yours. We hand over a copy of what you supplied and help you point the domain to a new host.
Pricing questions
More answers on the FAQ page.
How much does the salon website plan cost?
A$249 a month plus a one-off setup fee of A$499, GST may apply. There is one plan and one price for every salon. In the first year that comes to A$3,487 before any GST, and A$2,988 a year after that if you stay on.
Are the prices shown with or without GST?
Without. The plan is sold to businesses only, and a business showing prices only to other businesses doesn't have to include GST in them. GST is added to invoices only if we are registered for GST when we invoice you, and the invoice shows it. Until that is confirmed, every price on this site says "GST may apply".
How long is the minimum term?
12 months from the day your site goes live. After that the plan runs month to month until you or we end it.
What happens after the first 12 months?
Nothing changes unless you ask. The plan continues at A$249 a month with the same hosting, edits and monthly report. You can end it by written notice before the next billing date. If we ever change the monthly fee, we give you at least 30 days' written notice and you can leave before it applies.
Can I cancel during the minimum term?
Yes, by written notice, but the monthly fees for the rest of the 12-month term remain payable. That doesn't apply if you end the plan because we have seriously breached the terms and haven't fixed it within 14 days of you telling us. The plan terms set this out in full.
What does the setup fee pay for, and when is it charged?
The A$499 setup fee pays for building your site from your content: laying out your treatment menu, pages, photos, booking button and policies, connecting your domain and publishing it. It is invoiced when you sign up. The monthly fee starts from the month your site goes live.
What counts as a content edit?
One change to something already on your site: new prices, a treatment added or removed, changed hours, a new staff member, a swapped photo or an updated policy. Up to 5 edits are included each month and unused edits don't carry over. New sections, new features or a redesign are quoted before any work starts, and nothing is charged unless you agree.
Who owns the domain and the content?
You do. Your domain is registered in your business's name and you pay the registrar. The words, photos, logo and prices you supply stay yours. We host the site and keep the rights in our own templates and code while the plan runs.
Will the website bring me more bookings or rank on Google?
No one can honestly promise that, and we don't. The plan gives you a fast, mobile-friendly site with your menu, prices, policies and booking button, kept current each month. How many people find it and book depends on your area, your reviews, your Google Business Profile and the rest of your marketing.
Is paid advertising or social media management included?
No. Paid advertising such as Google Ads or Meta ads, the ad spend, and running your Instagram or Facebook are not part of the plan. We can link your social profiles from the site.
What is in the monthly report?
A short summary of the enquiries your website received that month through its enquiry form, so you can see what the site is doing. Bookings made inside your booking tool are counted there, not in our report.
